This place is a vital hub and an absolutely fantastic jump, recovery, and relax point for your adventures. I lived here many years ago and it warms my heart to see this perfect evolution and realization of what this area can offer. A big hug and high five to all involved!
The best mountain biking I’ve ever done in my life. The coolest mountain biking town I’ve ever been to (also the only). We rode here three days, getting in 5 sessions, and managed to get new trails every time. The town is flocked with bikers and it seems like the people who work in town like having bikers around. I’m counting down the days until the next time I get to come back. Make sure to get on strava before you come here so you can see how you compare. Hard to find public water fountains, my only complaint. Full of surprises around every turn.
I make 2 to 3 trips up here each year. Its a 6 hour drive that I love making. The trails are in great shape thanks to the staff that is constantly maintaining and protecting the trails. $15/day is absolute going to the right place.
Had a great time there during 2019 NEBA Fest. So sad that this may have been the last time its being held there. The scenery and trails were some of the best I have seen on the east coast. Most of the people we dealt with were friendly. But it only takes a couple to ruin it for the rest. I will be back with friends to enjoy the rest of the trails that we weren’t able to get to.
Kingdom trails is an extremely well built and thought-out trail network. I've been traveling the country and riding a fair amount as I've gone and this is probably my favorite place. I wish it wasn't quite so expensive for a single day pass, but I understand they have to do something to keep up the trails. Much cheaper if you live in the area to get a season pass. But still worth the visit!
Fantastic well maintained trails. I give them 4 stars for two reasons. 1. you are supposed to pay to use them....not that there are bike cops checking, but they do have reps out on the trails, they do supposedly check for passes sometimes. And 2, all the trails are severely overrated. Their "black diamonds" are barely blue squares. Their blue squares are barely green circles. So, if you have experience, don't bother with the greens or blues; seek out the black diamonds.
Went there on a 3 day mnt.bike trip, and it was amazing. The trails are awesome. Well worth the over 3 hour trip.
One of the best mountain bike ride centers I've been to. Ample parking, electronic self check-in, awesome trails, beer garden at end of trail, restaurant at parking lot, and live band playing in parking lot. This place has it all.
